Shelby Baxter-Andrews Consulting LLC

As a consultant, I collaborate with congregations to redefine and reshape community outreach and mission efforts to better serve God, the community, and the church.

Mission Trip Coordination

Is your congregation looking for a "mission trip" experience focusing on building relationships and exploring the intersections of faith, justice, and service? Collaborating with your leaders, I can plan and direct a service-learning experience and tailor the mission partnerships, curriculum, worship, and work to fit your group. Trip locations are Atlanta, Georgia and Pensacola, FL. Want something less involved? I can help you plan a similar experience in your own context.

Outreach Program Evaluation & Advising

Having studied Assets Based Community Development, Community Organizing, Missiology, and church outreach practices both in seminary and afterwards, I am passionate about helping congregations reevaluate and reshape their mission and outreach programs. Whether you're wondering how to focus and deepen your community connections or are still seeking your church's ideal mission objectives, I can guide your leaders through a discernment process personalized to your context.

Retreat Leadership & Planning

Whether you're looking for a keynote speaker for a Women's Retreat or help planning a Confirmation Retreat for your youth group, I have experience planning and leading church retreats of various kinds. You can pick the topic or let me choose! If you'd prefer to have your own members speak and lead activities, I am happy to help form an accessible guide for lay leaders to facilitate discussion, prepare devotionals, and lead worship.

Personalized Curriculum Development

I've developed content and curriculum for classes of various ages on a variety of topics, including spiritual practices, community building, sin and atonement, and church doctrine. If you have a particular subject or age group for which you're seeking curriculum, let's work together to personalize content for your context.
